SalaryWizard (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile app designed for Finnish shift workers. We help you understand your earnings with transparent, policy-aware calculations.

• Account data: If you sign in, we store your email via Firebase Authentication.
• Shift & salary data: Information you enter (e.g., hours, actions, leave) to power calculations.
• Technical data: Non-personal info like device model, OS version, and app version to ensure reliability.

• Authenticate your account and sync your data;
• Compute your pay with correct multipliers and extras;
• Maintain security, performance, and support.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

• Consent: You choose to sign in and store your data.
• Contract: We provide the service you requested.
• Legitimate interest: Securing and improving the app.

5. How we store and protect data

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication). Access is restricted by per-user security rules. All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

6. Sharing

We don’t share your personal data with third parties except trusted infrastructure providers (Google Firebase) acting as processors. They operate under their own GDPR-compliant terms.

7. Retention

Your data remains associated with your account until you delete it or request deletion. If you stop using the app, you can contact us to remove stored data.

8. Your rights

• Access the data we hold about you;
• Request correction or deletion;
• Withdraw consent without affecting prior processing;
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The app is not intended for users under 16. If a minor’s data has been submitted, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies and local storage

The mobile app may use on-device storage (e.g., SharedPreferences) for preferences and offline caching. The marketing website may use basic, non-tracking cookies for performance or spam protection in forms.

11. International transfers

Firebase may process data in data centers outside your country. Google applies safeguards consistent with GDPR and other applicable laws.
